I imagine that foma does have the capability to make smaller batches than some of the other makers.

They probably get ideas and do some research and development on the side at a not too high cost, and can make and sell smaller batches and see how they sell. I guess the users of the more niche products store a lot of what they buy in their freezers. The Retro 320 and now available Ortho 400 films, for example.

Bought some Foma pastel red from Freestyle today, had 1 pack of Luminos red in the 90's, it was lower contrast than traditional paper (could have been my skills). Interested to see the intensity of the red and the contrast.

I have a lot of negatives that would look great printed on the yellow and blue versions of this. Especially the yellow. Definitely going to get some when it gets back in stock at Freestyle. May cut some of it down to 4x5 for the next postcard exchange,

My experience so far is that it a very slow emulsion. The 8x10 photo below required Ilford MG 4 filter under the lens, base exposure was 22 s (with heavy burning at the top) whereas Fomabrom graded required 2s base exposure in comparison. I'd say the emulsion is very fragile so be gentle when transferring the paper from one tray to another. Curls more than other Foma FB papers, too.

stunningly beautiful. I could see this paper have a lot of potential and could pick up in the market than expected.
