FOMAPAN R100 Double Super 8

Anyone who has experience with this:
B&H says it comes packaged on a reel. Is this true or does it come in the standard super8 cartridge?
And if it is on a reel, can it be used in a camera designed to take the cartridges?

That is for double super-8 cameras. Basically a standard-8 camera with modified film gate and sprockets to maximize the image area. Bolex never made one but there are conversions out there. The film runs twice through the camera and is split after processing. You get two reels of Super-8 in the end. This film is 16mm wide, and is not in a cartridge. I have never used it because I'd rather not have my Bolex cameras modified and I'm not sure my lenses would cover.

So basically it's double 8 or "regular 8" but with different sprockets?
