I've recently purchased 2 rolls of Fomapan R in 35mm just to try it. Having never shot b/w slide film before, am I correct in thinking that I can use my b/w contrast filters (I have an orange, a red and a blue filter) the same way I would use them for regular b/w print film? I mean it's still a b/w film after all, so I assume that the filters would do their job the same way, but curious if anyone has experience with this.

Thanks!

I'll agree. The film is panchromatic, first, so a red filter won't make a blank negative; second, the result you get in the finished slide will mimic what you'd see in a straight print from a negative shot with the same filter.
