Good job Andy! I like HDC because it's simple to make and works as well for me as the HD version did. The only thing I noticed was that HDC seemed slightly more energetic. I really never noticed much if any difference in resolution/sharpness or grain in my 120 negatives, but then I never really looked that close. I was just happy with what I got and never pushed further. Oh, the keeping qualities seem exactly the same also. Mine is in glycol so don't know about water mix?

Not sure about longevity in water, compared to HD. That's why I mixed it in glycol, as I do with HD version. I think Glycol is the way to go, especially when I have a few other developers on hand. Cheers!

Yes no real difference between the two developers from what I could see, Andrew

I am not surprised about the tree or was that several trees chasing you? You had taken a picture of their elderly maiden aunt tree who has become worried about losing her youthful bloom and had complained to her ill tempered and headstrong nephews that the picture was not of her best side.

Such are her nephews that even the black bears ask permission to use their trunks to scratch their backs. Be warned 😎

Another fun-to-watch video @Andrew O'Neill.

One suggestion:I have found it helpful to carry a heavy duty garbage bag in a pocket of my backpack for those soggy/dirty ground days. That way, I don't have to remember to pack it each time. I wipe it off after use, thereby not increasing the net plastics load on the planet.
