I know this was old, but as the thread has been revived.....

Yes, I wish it wasn't. Pete, whom you are answering, was last seen on Photrio in May 2017.

I suggest that the moderators close this thread as it has run it's course. The original discussion quickly veered off into whether Foma is the devil or not. The bulk of the thread has little to do with the thread title.

Tsubasa's comment that kicked the thread back up was actually on-topic.

What is not on-topic, is the repeated complaining about the nature of the thread. It has been reported, we have looked into it, and see no reason to lock it at present.

Kindly either post on-topic, or refrain from posting. Thank you.

Thanks. Is that what's included in the kits you can buy?

Would hydrogen peroxide or copper sulfate also work?

I use acidified potassium dichromate bleach. But do bear in mind I have ready access to laboratory chemicals. I'd recommend most people use the Foma reversal kit. I doubt that hydrogen peroxide would work. But I haven't tried. I wouldn't think CuSO4 would work either. The general consensus among folk who have experimented far more than I have with home developing is that Fomapan R cannot be developed as negative.

I've not had an issue with the 8mm Fomapan R100 that I've shot down the years. I've had it lab developed and developed it myself without any obvious issues.
