Two nice folders here, ready for use. I'm not using them so they have to go...
1) Welta Weltur 6x9. The big Weltur, pretty uncommon compared to its 6x6 and 6x4.5 cousins. This one is in great shape for a nearly 80 year old camera. The lens is an uncoated Zeiss 105 f/4.5 Tessar, very few marks on it and tack sharp, set in a Compur Rapid shutter with speeds from 1 - 1/400 sec. Shutter works at all speeds, coupled rangefinder works well (though it has a slight vertical misalignment, nothing that gets in the way) and focusing is smooth. Bellows is supple and light tight. Camera is built like a tank. Was missing it handle, but I took a handle off another vintage Welta I had laying around and put it on. Includes a somewhat battered leather and metal case that protects the thing like crazy but is not convenient at all. Takes great pictures. I have too many Tessars and I need cash. 300.00usd net to me or make me an offer.
2) Tower 6x6, actually a rebadged Franka Solida iii made for Sears. This wasn't selling when its uncoupled rangefinder wasn't accurate, so I had it adjusted. Now it's spot on. Lens is a Schneider Radionar 80mm f/2.9, a very fast optic for its time, fully color coated, in splendid shape. The shutter is a Prontor SVS and all speeds are accurate from 1 sec to 1/300th. Body in very good overall condition for its age, one spot of brassing on back of rangefinder and a definite used but not abused patina overall. Takes wonderful pictures, but I don't like the square format. Comes with case in good shape. 120.00usd net to me or make me an offer.
Check the pictures to see! No international shipments, sorry! Paypal is cool.
