Flutot's Still Around?

Since there isn't a forum for repairing and servicing, I'll post this here. Has anyone used Flutot recently? When you send them an email it gets bounced back with a mailer-daemon.

That forum is mainly information on doing repairs, not folks that provide repair services. So no, that forum won't "do". I (and various others) have advocated for a forum, or at least a sticky somewhere, for repair services and information about them, but that request has fallen on deaf ears here at APUG.

And, yes, that is the place where I got the email address. As it appears to be the only email address for them listed on their website, one would be hard pressed to use anything else.

So the basic question still remains... Are they still around? It seems odd that they should have a website up but not an email address, considering that emails are free.

Thanks, guys. That's still the address they post. I'll try them again, maybe it was an issue with the ISP.

I asked in the first case because one can't tell if you are using the same address as one that may have worked for others if one doesn't know which address you used. (there must be a less convoluted way to say that!)

Matt, you're right that's pretty convoluted - I've read it several times and still don't know what it says. I went back and looked at all my emails to/from Carol and her very first one to me came from the link I provided, and they all show that link at the end of each email. However, her first email implies that I may have called first (I don't remember if I did that).

The email address in your post is flutotscamera@earthlink.net
The email address that the "Contact Us" page on the website references is different: carolmiller@flutotscamerarepair.com
And as for the convoluted sentence, I was just trying to point out that when it comes to Tim's problems with a bounced back email, it would be useful to know what email address he used, so that those who had been in contact with Carol could compare it with the one that they used.

I sent my original mail to her at carolmiller@flutotscamerarepair.com. She responded from the Earthlink address. So either there's a disconnect in her e-mail forwarding somewhere, or people are still finding and using the EarthLink address when in fact she might have closed that account.

Remember that she has a backlog of work and she works thoroughly and slowly, but it is worth it.
