Hi everyone, I sorry to inform you that...

I am not taking in any new items temporally, because of health reason. I have an autoimmune disease that flares up from time to time, that can be triggered by stress and other things, so I need to stop pushing myself as much as I have, take my schedules days off, get in my necessary exercise, so I get to feeling better.
I will be pressing on with the all the work I already have in and will try to get everything out in a timely matter. If you have an item you would like me to work on just email me and I will add you to a list and I will contact you as soon as I am ready to receive new items. Also on my service contact page I have other places that can service you items.

I never imagined I would become so popular and would be receiving the amount of work that comes in daily. Thank you!

I just wish I had better genes!

Carol,

Take good care of yourself, that obviously must come first, shutters can wait! I'm all too familiar with autoimmune diseases, they can be difficult.

Get Well!!

Carol,

Take care of yourself and get well soon. While I'm glad I got a needy shutter out to you a few weeks ago, it can certainly wait - take your time with it.

Dan

Your health is most important. I hope you get well soon.

Hang in there. My wife has MS so I know what you are going through.

Hi Carol, I hope you feel better soon .Take care.

Greg

Carol,
I am struggling with a neurological disorder, as well. I think I can understand what you're going through. Please, take good care of yourself.
Wishing you all the best,
aparat

Carol,
I do have plans to get some of my C220 lens out to you...

But with 47 other cameras, including a couple of very fine rb67s, a Yashica 635 for my TLR fix, a couple of Nettars for my "on the go" rig.. oh hell, the only lens that has been on the C220 in a year has been the 65mm and it's working fine.

I'll email you, you put me on the list for three or four TLR lens, and maybe an Acme 4 shutter. You let me know when to send them and in the mean time... get better.

Carol,

Indeed, all of us here wish you the best -- take care of yourself FIRST and let the work come later, if at all. Needless to say, we hope you get this under control soon and get your life back to normal.

Carol,

Please let me know when you are back in the saddle again. Per Volquartz suggested that I contact you about cleaning the shutter on my 1935 Certo Dolly Super Sport folder with a 7,5cm f/2,8 Ziess lens.

Steve

Get well soon Carol.

Carol,

We all wish you the best and hope you can rest and relax more and get better soon. Enjoy life more--you've earned it. You certainly have made our lives better through your magic with our shutters.

Keith

Just get better, cameras and there shutters are far less important than your health.

get better!!

Carol- another wish for your health....get better soon!!!!
Best, Peter

Carol: Give yourself the rest you require , these shutters can collect a little more dust : Thanks for your help in the : Lauren

I should be resting more but I'm still working on the 70 plus shutter and cameras I have in and I'm still receiving more. Though I'm not working as long at night and take more nights off.
We are planning a short vacation in April.
Some are telling me I should raise my prices so I get less work in. Would that Work?...Guess depends on how high!...
Though I do need to figure a way to control the incoming work so it doesn't pile up as much, especially when I get those stubborn shutter or cameras that need that extra TLC and time to get them up and running, that slows up the flow. Because of other reasons, right now I not able to hire or train anyone. Wish I was more business minded. I need an on/off switch

Again thanks for all you well wishes!

some vintage shutters are not in real need of service as long as they work consistently ,a ll they need is a speed chart.

otherers require significant refurbishment thus it will be reasonable to reflect the situation in prices . Now that variable time and effort need to be spent, it is fair
to have different prices for shutters of different condition.

Hi All,

A little update....

Things are going slowly, been spending too much time getting my new hard drive up and running, learning a lot about computers, maybe I will start repairing them instead...Just kidding!!

I think it will be another month before I am ready to accept new work, if nothing else comes up to slow me down. Will update again to let you all know. The people on my list will be the first in and I may keep the list going so I can control of the volume of work that comes in, will have to play it by ear.
Hopefully my up coming mini-vacation will go well and I will get re-energized.

Thank you for your Patience and Understanding!

Carol
