hi,

does anyone know where to get flashed opal glass in Turkey? international postage is prohibitive and i'm sure the stuff is available around here somewhere! while we're at it, what would Türkish for flashed opal glass?

I don't unfortunately :D

All my supplies come from the UK on visits to family, I'll see if my wife knows the Turkish word though - she says it's "beyaz cam"

Thinking about it I saw flashed opal glass here in Turkey yesterday in Izmir, used as a desk-top in an opticians, just find your local glass shop/merchant every town usually has one or two.

If "beyaz cam" isn't the right words say like an opal light bulb & point one out :D
