I have my own domain, and I've been seriously thinking about starting up a repair forum to replace KYP's. The only thing holding me back, I guess, is I don't know what sort of commitment it will require in terms of time and funds.
I have 3.4GB, comprising 673 PDFs of darkroom equipment and repair manuals. I offered them to Butkus but he was not interested in hosting darkroom equipment files.

Thanks to you both! That's fantastically helpful. It's amazing how attached I am to this camera considering it's cheap as anything on eBay. Bonus being of course I know this one works and the light seals seal light.
Since this thread has been resurrected, I have a question. I have an fx3 in good condition but the meter is off about a stop or so. How do I adjust the meter on this camera?
Another great thing about the FX3, adjustable meter! Under the rewind crank is a thin cover for the access site. Check the repair manual for instructions on how to do it.
Just seeing this now. The FX-3 service manual is available on the internet and explains how to open it. But, if the screen is damaged, you will likely need to buy a second camera just for the screen.
