Thanks for the note, Tom. It seems your (and their) printing technique is coherent with the literature!

Have you noticed any difference with the image depending on the fixer you use? In a bout of curiosity I was thinking about buying some Kodak Fixer for paper prints. However, I thought I read somewhere that some modern papers contain iodide (PE?), so maybe rapid fix is enough.

Michael, I have not yet done any comparative fixer tests with anything but contact printed Kodak Azo. Hopefully, I'll soon be checking out the new Lodima silver chloride paper.

But in that particular case, did you see noticeable differences?

No Michael, I did not see noticeable differences.

Ah! Thank you Tom. I was somehow considering the possibility of buying a gallon of powdered Kodak Fixer to check it out myself, but in FB I'm mostly printing on Kentmere Bromide, so the theoretical advantage would matter even less. Plus I really don't feel like fixing for 5mins.

Cheers,
