Does such a thing exist? I am talking about the kind of fixed focus like on a single use camera.

what lenses do you have?
you can figure out the hyperfocal sweet spot
for them ... it will be like a fixed focus.
have fun!

Are you looking for a specific effect? Turning of the AF already gives you fixed focus.
I want a fixed focus effect like you get with a single use camera. I want to be able to shoot video without constantly shifting the focus. Small aperture is fine, I am working in bright sun or studio with blinding video light,

Pentax K2000 has a toy camera setting, have use it, might meet your needs. Also have used toy camera setting in PS or Corel?

It's unclear whether you want a fixed lens lo-fi look, or just the convenience. If it's the latter, Tippex a hyperfocal dot on the barrel and one at optimum aperture of an ordinary lens as others have suggested. This was common on old folders, where the factory included a couple of marks for non-photographers. For a low fidelity plastic lens look, you might have to cut and shut an old lens Frankenstein style. Some mirrorless cameras have such an item off the shelf, Olympus and Fuji produce body cap lenses, so called because that's how big they are. Can't think of a DSLR equivalent off hand.

Some of the 'lensbaby's' are fixed focus = I know as I have a couple but now they are not so cheap, but they do what they are supposed to do!

If you want a true fixed focused look, set shutter at 1/125s, aperture at f8, ISO at 100-400 and set hyperfocal distance using markings on the lens (unfortunately many modern lenses no longer have those markings, but all my old ones do).

The app "Digital Depth of Field" is wonderful for finding hyperfocal distance on those annoying modern lenses. I use it for large format to give me an idea of what will be in focus on 4x5 without having to struggle with the low light of a stopped down lens.

The hyperfocal distance is maybe 1000 to 2000 (or perhaps a little more) times the apparent diameter of the lens aperture as measured through the front lenses of the camera lens. That specified constant varies with the preference of the photographer and the ultimate use of the image. Harold Merkingler has made available downloads of some excellent information on depth of field at http://www.trenholm.org/hmmerk/HMbook14.html
