Unfortunately I don't own a scanner, but I developed a roll of FP4+ in PMK Pyro this weekend. I neglected to wash the negatives in the spent developer after fixing. Although the negatives have a green tint, and they print well, what would the difference have been had a put them back in the spent developer? Simply more stain overall?

Lots of people seem to be skipping the afterbath, and Gordon Hutchings is now only recommending it if one uses an acid fixer. It seems only to increase the background stain, and not the image stain, lowering contrast.

Andrew,
David's reply is IMO correct. Don't worry about the afterbath soak.
