First Solo Show

Hello all!
I am excited to share that I have my first solo show during a local Art Walk here in Fort Worth Texas on August 21 from 6-8pm. I think I have everything ready, prints printed (waiting to be signed), Art tags to be printed this week, and inventory sheet, certificates of authenticity to be printed this week, and a catalog of all the prints including the smaller runs. I have business cards and will have a book out for newsletter signups. All prints will be for sale. I am excited even though it is only 2 hours.
Anything else I need to consider?

It went well. i didn't sell anything though. THe people who came by, did take their time to look at all the pieces so that was encouraging.

So, any feedback on these sites would be helpful. The easier to use the better.

On one of my websites I use WordPress with NextGEN gallery. Both are well-documented and relatively easy to use; there are plenty of tutorials around on setting up WordPress. Once you've got that set up, adding a plugin like NextGEN isn't very difficult either.

For a ready-to-go gallery presence I think many people still use Flickr. I can't comment; I've never used it.

I use Cargo Collective for my website, they have a number of templates. Not too easy to customize, though. Maybe this should be a new thread.

Keep plugging away! My wife is a artist, she sometimes sells her work, best results seem to be in a gallery setting. You should feel wonderful about doin' it!

Good idea - and it would be well situated if it were in this same Presentation and Marketing sub-forum.
