Wish all of my first rolls looked like this. Holga 120 CFN, Shanghai GP3 100, TD-16 developer. Really nice film. Who knew?

Nice! Enjoy it while it lasts.

I had good experiences with that film, too -- only had a few rolls so take that as you will. But, for what it's worth, I quite liked it.

If it's from the latest batch it will even work well in a camera with a real glass lens. At least it does in my Rollei's and Hasselblad. I shoot mainly Ilford HP5+ and FP4+, but there's nothing wrong with a little GP3 once in a while. John W

Nice. I like the film (what I've shot of it).

If only the backing paper and tape inspired more confidence the results are good. This with Pyrocat-HD semi-stand, a bit mucky from playing with the new V850 scanner, negative in and out a few too many times. Only quibble is the makers edge marking SPGFF, needs to be more of the edge variety, it impinges on my image area, top LHS test image.
Do they make any other emulsions?

I use their 4x5 and like it. $12 US for a box of 25. Let's me keep the cost low as I learn all about LF shooting.

$12 for a box of 25 sheets of 4x5 film!!! I'm in, if that's the price here in the states. And you don't have to peer closely and squint to see the frame numbers like with 120.

Unfortunately that must be an only in China price. I can't seem to find it here in the US.

Yes, I have a feeling that it isn't that cheap in the states. Last time I went home (to canada) a friend had me mule a bunch of 8x10 to her. $52 for 25 sheets.

And with the 4x5, there are no frame numbers. There are actually no markings at all. Nothing on the rebate. The only mark of any sort is a rather shallow half circle notch for orientation. Ahh well, beggars can't be choosers so I am told.

GP-3 in 4x5 is running $19 per 25 sheet box plus shipping on the auction site, 120 is anywhere from $2.20 to $3.00 a roll depending on quantity and source.
