One of my lenses is screwed into a Kodak Supermatic no.2 shutter which has a bi-post connection for x-syncing flash, unfortunately all my other equipment uses standard PC terminals for syncing. I've read about adapter cords from a company called Paramount, but I looked them up and unfortunately shipping to Sweden seems prohibitvely expensive. Does anyone know if there are sources for similar cables in Europe?
In the electronik components market you might find miniature female contacts that fit your posts. Solder these to a pc-extension cord, shove a plastic casing over the cord, fit the contacts to the´posts, shove the casing over the contacts. Fix the contacts to the casing by a bit of epoxy-cement, retract the adapter and fill it up with cement.
Older european electric razors (not the rechargable battery type) used a cable which has a connection that matches you can make a conversion lead using one.
I've also got a connector (rewireable) somewhere the same fit that came with a lead for a rechargeable battery (came with a Sony TV in the 1970's), so try an electrical components store.
I was given a bunch of PC-cords from the guy at the photo store yesterday, so I'll just have to find a shaver cable and solder them together. Thanks for all the help
