Very elegant!

I don't have walls like that - lots of doors and windows, lots of bookshelves, and some pictures crammed in the very few open spaces between...

Looks great, Nige. Decent display lighting is what's really lacking at our place, but since we're not planning to stay in this apartment forever, we've been hesitant to install track lighting.

Touch you! The only time I had that kind of wall real estate was just before I started moving my stuff in! It looks very nice. My walls are covered, floor to ceiling, with bookshelves, old maps, lots-o-pictures, etc...

This is very cool. I too as others do have limited wall space but I try to hang whatever I can.

Yer gonna miss that view!

Nice display, Nige. I did have to clutch at my chest a bit when I saw the digiprints, but I'm amazed to say I recovered very quickly!

hehe @ John!

They are 16x20 frames with prints that measure just under 11x14 as my easel doesn't quite make it to 11x14! Slightly smaller prints would probably look better and I'll probably do that for the next lot.

Funny, I'm actually going to larger prints. These days I'm mainly printing 20x24. Of course, I have no place anywhere as nice as you do to hang them.

Robert, I mean smaller prints in the same frames to more to suit the frame size. I think a little bit more matt would look better.

I started mating my 11x14 contacts in 20x24 mats instead of 16x20, it just looks much better IMO.

Must be a big wall and a modern house, there is no picture rail.

Obviously your missus doesn't hang up quilts, prints look puny by comparison!

Very neat, when's the mural print going up?

Mick.

Nice lighting Nige, lucky enough to have lots of wall space...the little lady let me have an entire room when we built the new house (she calls it the gallery room  ) The track lights look much more elegant than mine do, Nige...but they are functional, 4 tracks with different low-voltage lights cover 4 seperate walls...the largest which hangs the APUG gallery -
