Last night was the first time I stood in the dark with film in hand since 1987.
Oh have I missed the sensation when the lights go out, the smell of chemicals, the anticipation of wondering if, when the lights come on for the last time and the film is unwound from the reel, if I got it right.
Rather then wait until I had a real darkroom built, I decided to set up in a utility room and I am really glad I did. I don't think I could have gone much longer without souping some film.
I am keeping a spreadsheet documenting all data about each roll or sheet in hopes that it will help me down the road as I begin to dial in my processes, choice of film and chemicals.
The film I developed was 120, 1 roll TMAX 100 and 1 roll Delta 100 in XTOL 1:1 using times from DigitalTruth.com Everything turned out great. I was very happy with the results.
My weekend is going to be busy. I have 5 more rolls of 120, 12 rolls of 35mm, and 15 4x5 holders with exposed EFKE 25. I have yet to ever soup any 4x5, but I think I'll be ok with all of the advice I have obtained reading all of the great posts.
Then it is off to set up and do some printing.
No questions from me tonight, just wanted to share my excitement!!! A ton of thanks to all who have contributed so much information here on APUG.
Hopefully, there will be at least 1 good shot I can share sometime soon.
