No "almost" about it! Good for her. That kind of irrepressibility is the reason Alan Ross' portrait of Imogen Cunningham with Ansel Adams is one of my personal icons! It does, though, point out the potential risk of having a sense of humor. Maybe it's why we (culturally) have become so dour.

When I first published The Light Farm, I used the Comic Sans font. I was ripped apart for it by a critic because it wasn't serious enough. I ended up changing the website font to Georgia because it carries better across browsers and platforms, but I was "seriously" reluctant. Serious comes hard to me, at least as far as art goes.

Oh my gosh I am seriously tempted to do something similar in the documentation for my next infrared lens design. That is hilarious!

COMIC SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also love insider jokes in real text.
Being an engineer who's worked in the real work for nearly a decade, I'm extremely cynical about everything that management and big businesses do, ie, I identify a lot with Dilbert.
Now that I'm back at uni, I've resolved to put a quote from The Dilbert Principle in at least one paper per subject that I'm doing (so far, 1 from 1).

My missus is doing it even better, her PhD thesis quotes Bon Jovi and Jay-Z lyrics, eg as Carter, S (2003).

Boy do I wish I could have shot some of this! This is too much of a long shot to even bother to say but....I wonder if Ferrania ever made color infrared or may ever be able to make some

Some of us have asked for this over on the Hello APUG from Film Ferrania thread (title may not be exact). One of the guys (either Nicola or Marco, I forget which) are fans of color IR film. I'd say it's a long shot. I'd love to see them make this, but I'd rather see a 400 speed E-6 emulsion or the P800/3200 E-6 emulsion from them first. I don't want them to sink their ship doing things like color IR if it's going to affect the viability of their other emulsion(s) and their factory.
