No "almost" about it! Good for her. That kind of irrepressibility is the reason Alan Ross' portrait of Imogen Cunningham with Ansel Adams is one of my personal icons! It does, though, point out the potential risk of having a sense of humor. Maybe it's why we (culturally) have become so dour. When I first published The Light Farm, I used the Comic Sans font. I was ripped apart for it by a critic because it wasn't serious enough. I ended up changing the website font to Georgia because it carries better across browsers and platforms, but I was "seriously" reluctant. Serious comes hard to me, at least as far as art goes.
