I'll be in New Mexico in a couple of weeks and would like advice on what filter to use to lighten adobe constructed buildings? B&W film. Would a #16 or 21 Orange work?
Thanks for any advice!

As you know, you'll need filtration that is somewhat close to the color that you want to lighten, I would just go prepared with several options at the ready, make multiple exposures with different filters, post some pics with the results. Perhaps a 23A orange-red, definitely the 21 orange, never used a #16.
