Filter size, mamiya 80mm f/2.8 & 55mm f/4.5 ,tlr lenses

Good morning

I want to make sure regarding the filter size for mamiya 80mm f/2.8 tlr lens & mamiya 55mm f/4.5 tlr lens

When i tryied to looking for this information on web , all the feedback mention that these two lenses has a 46mm filter size , but on the front lens cover its written 48mm for both lenses
I am not sure if these two front lens cover for the same lens models or not , but anyway its fits perfectliy on it

The lens caps are slip on, friction fit covers.
The 48mm refers to the outer dimension of the front of the lens barrels, and is an accurate measure of the slip on size.
The inner, filter thread size is 46mm for those two lenses, as well as several other lenses for the Mamiya TLR system.

The 80mm f2.8 in the Seikosha-S shutter (chrome) would be 40.5. The black Copal shuttered 80mm are 46mm threads.

The unusual 80mm f3.7 is another 40.5 example.

It's worth pointing out that although the black 80mm viewing lens looks smaller than the taking lens, they're both 46mm. Handy place to store one if you want to swap between two different filters. I usually keep a skylight on one and UV on the other.
