Filter size for Fuji GSW690 III

I think I am going to get one as soon as a good example becomes available. Does anyone know the filter size?

FUJI GSW 690 II

all the 6x9 fuji's take 67mm. The II's are no better than the earlier ones, IMHO. A tad better grip but if you can find one lightly used they are hundreds cheaper.

Good luck in your search for a Fuji GSW690 III. It is a fine camera.

I use mine primarily for scenic shots. However, I have also used it for architectural, weddings, and large group shots.

How will you use yours and what filters will you need?

One very annoying features of these great camera is the lens shade does not remove. With "some" filters this means you must retract the shade to attach the filter and hence you cannot access the shutter speed and aperture controls. Some simply cut the built in lens shade off.

Thanks for letting me know. I just want to get a UV "protection" filter. If anyone knows, I would get the B+W UV Pro filter. Would getting the slim version (much more expensive) prevent the above mentioned problem.

I will use the camera for environmental portraits, exclusively B&W.

You know it's mainly a problem with using any kind of filter adapter or filter that's wider than the threads. I would think a standard UV filter would be fine.

standard filter is fine

A standard UV filter is fine on this lens, no real need for the slim.

I'd not cut off the hood, it reduced resale value a fair bit.

I use a few standard filters with this camera. They all (B&W and Hoya) work fine. No need to buy an expensive slim filter, that is a waste of money. To each his own but I did not even use a UV filter with this camera while trekking in Ladakh, India at altitudes up to 5,600 meters. I did not needed it (using Fuji 160s and Reala).
