Filter ring adapter for kodak 203 ektar

Anyone know how to attach a filter ring to this lens?

I use a Lee system, including a 49mm ring, so if there is a push fitadapter to 49 mm or so that would be great. Anyone know the diameter of the outside barrel?

I did see an answer to this question somewhere on the web ages ago but have now given up after a 2 hour search trying to find it again!

I am UK based so if anyone knows of where I could get an off the shelf solution, I would love to know.

I'm guessing this is some sort of Kodak series filter. If it is then the adapter is a stock item.

Series six supposedly and of course I can't find a series VI to anything. Lots of things going to that size but the wrong way.

....The best source I can recommend is SRB in Luton, England. They provided me with a nice and cheap push-on fit adapter for my Ektar 203 7.7 that takes the 52mm filters and shades which I tend to use with most of my other LF lenses for 5x4in format. (75, 135, 150, 180). The only ones I can't use with a 52mm with are the Nikkor SW90, S.Angulon XL90 and S. Angulon 121, because they have such large front elements. In the case of the 90XL, it is excessively large. Although a superb lens, I find it a struggle to use with my 5x4 Linhofs.

Try going to an automotive supply. They usually have a section with "O" rings in slide-out trays. You can find one which will slide onto the lens barrel and make up the difference so your adapter can screw onto the outer edge of the "O" ring. They come in many sizes and thicknesses. You may spend a little time, but they are very cheap, less than a dollar for three.
