Hi everyone! I recently purchased a Graphic View 4x5 monorail camera off ebay, now I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I have pretty much nothing of what I need to use it, and am tying to put some stuff together. There are many film holders I've seen for sale, both on ebay and through locals, but some are labelled "graphic" film holders, others are not. Does this camera use a special film holder or the standard Fidelity/Lisco/Regal etc. type?

hi justin,

most any film holders will work with your camera, as long as they aren't graflex film holders.
the graflex film holders are wider than regular old film holders,
and they have slots in the sides that afixed them to graflex slr cameras.

if i have confused you ...

there is a visual on a graflex vs. "other" film holder.
(as well as other goodies!)

good luck!

Yep, you are looking for "Type V" holders. Any Lisco/Regal/Fidelity should work. If you find you have somehow purchased a Graflex holder by mistake... it'll sell easily on EBay. Once you get use to the Graphics holders, you'll be able to tell by feel when ya got the wrong one.

What lens are you getting?
