Looking for a developing tank or two, with reels for 35mm/120 film, beakers, storage bottles, thermometer, stirring paddles, etc... I want to get everything to get myself back into film developing again. So if anyone knows of a darkroom being closed down...

It's been a very long time.

I have some of that stuff, Nikor and other tanks and reels, glassware, etc. Might have trouble with the thermometer. Difficulty might be the cost of shipping from NE Ohio. Let me know if I should try putting something together.

Consider getting a Ab-Box instead.

I personally don’t think they are worth the cost, and they don't look that much more convenient, and offer more chances to mess up the film. But that’s just my opinion, and it might be a good fit for some folks.

I think Ralph is referring to the Ars-Imago Lab-box light tight developing equipment.

<google google ... ding!>

Ah, I see. Interesting idea, but I don't see much advantage over traditional tanks. I guess loading is supposed to be easier than the old style reels? Maybe you can use a little less chemistry, but not sure about that.

I'll stick with old style especially since I should be able to equip myself a good bit cheaper that way.

If you weren't on the other side of a continent, and in a strange and sometimes wild and foreign country - šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‡ - I could probably mostly set you up for free. There might be others more local to you who also could help.

It is a strange place, and living near DC I see some of the strangest aspects of it. We'll see what the Photrio Krew can come up with though!

I've got a couple of members just yesterday offering some of what I need - still looking for almost everything to process film, so offers and suggestions are still welcome!
Due to health issues (age-related) I no longer do film development or darkroom work in general, so I’m getting ready to liquidate my entire darkroom. I have film dev equipment for everything from 35mm to 8x10 sheet film. Film hangers, trays for tray dev, you name it. I even have several unopened bottles of the original HC-110 yellow syrup left, many sizes of brown bottles, pipettes to accurately measure the syrup. If you can give me a list of what you’d like to start with, I probably have it and Iā€˜d be happy to help. Since you’re in the U.S., I’d ship to you via USPS flat rate boxes (In as many boxes as necessary) and you’d get then in 2-3 days.

i have a working jobo with only missing the white gear

Are you still looking? Have son at Ft. Detrick. Let me know what you still need.
Have a reasonable excuse to make a delivery trip.
