I seem to be unsure on how to load the film on my 2.8E. I load it the way the manual says but yet videos show it differently showing you advance to get the arrow on the film to line up. I only ask because I have a annoying problem on this camera and others I have owned. After loading according to the manual and taking the first shot the winder locks up and will not advance. What I do is engage the double exposure and cover the lens and take the shot. This will allow advancing to second frame and never locks again with that roll. It only happens after loading new film. I know about putting the film under the first roller. I had a 3.5F do the same thing but that one I sent out for a cla and that still did the same thing after getting it back. I don't want to spend over $100 sending it out so if anyone knows what causes this I will try to fix it myself.

The film goes between the "feeler rollers", and the camera will automatically know when the film starts. No need to align the start arrows with anything. I do that though just to be sure that the roll winds correctly. The crank should not lock up like that after the first shot. It's probably a simple adjustment that is needed. (Simple for an experienced repairman)
