I am trying to find info on the following

Ektascan TM EC-6, 100 ct. 8x10 inch, Cat # 164 1083 and Cat # 175 3045

Someone is offering to donate some to our university, but I can't trace any info about it on Kodak's wedsite.

Anyone know about it -- or have suggestions as to where to search for info?

Thanks, Vaughn

I have a few boxes of different Ektascan products that are their medical imaging films (x-ray, etc). Haven't heard of this one, though.

I believe this is film for the Kodak Ektascan Laser Printer/Processor, used for medical imaging.

I believe this is film for the Kodak Ektascan Laser Printer/Processor, used for medical imaging.

That may be the case -- it is coming from a medical research lab that has gone digital. (they also donated 200 4x5 film holders to us, which was wonderful! I was getting tired of handing out only two holders per student, saying to get them back to me ASAP so that other students could use them!)

So if the film is designed for a laser printer, it might still work in a camera...might be fun to play with1

Thanks, JB,

Kodak no longer carries info on Ektascan on their website -- I'll just hope the film comes with some info packed in it.
