Nope. We'll have more in-country intra-nets / WANs profusing - China has an interesting thing actually. Own versions of social media and search engines.
I expect though that a lot of English based websites will hence focus more on the Indian market -especially as the govt is now gearing up to put pretty much everything online and on social media. (one recent example was that we could check abt 50,000 govt officials attendance real-time, including differences in lunch breaks)

The only thing that I think it would prevent the US from implementing something like this are the "security risks" involved in that kind of thing, if you know that everybody is in attendance or that particular people are in attendance, you can then target them etc., which is not a good thing, so they may not implement something like this, and it may not be wise to do so just for safety reasons.

Very true, so it could be posted, say a week in arrears.

Is there any color film coming out of China? Lucky stopped producing and apparently at Photokina they said there was no chance it was coming back. Every once in awhile I see an off brand of film that's made in China, but a cheap 35mm color film would be nice for those times when I'm testing my cameras or feeling artsy, or whatever would really be nice. I actually miss the Lucky brand film.

Often these films are only finished / converted in China.

Best for camera tests is reversal film: You really see if there is an exposure / light meter problem; a shutter or aperture problem.
The cheap AgfaPhoto CT Precisa is excellent for that purpose.

If you want very cheap CN film: AgfaPhoto Vista 200 and 400. Better quality than the last Lucky film, at even lower price (at least here in my country).

Best regards,
Henning

I have also noticed that my lab in Beijing has been giving me longer and longer return times over the past four years. It's funny though, they are processing more and more film, but they stopped selling it (with the exception of 4x5) earlier this year. Guess they can't compete with the Camera market for the sales side.

Only tested Lucky Color 200 film, not bad, but I could only put 50 lp/mm on it in normal C-41 process, I could get a lot higher with my speed losing developer, on the other hand it also worked better than expected above box speed in normal process.
