I was unable to load this film in my riteways and was wondering what to do with this film. It is just a tiny bit too big - just larger than standard size. I haven't tried the liscos yet.

They've had size problems in the past. Contact them, and they should be willing to exchange it, as they did when this has happened before.

It was not the ones listed as cut wrong - I'll email them - I am looking forward to trying this film out. I am sure they will live up to their good reputation.

They have probaly sent you the wrong film by mistake, it happened to me too.
You can expect exellent customer service from J&C, they`re just great!

The oversized film fits most of my holders :D The only holder it won't fit is an old Kodak holder. All the newer ones fit. Some are easier then others but I think the Lisco holders are best fit. At least without going to check the name on the holders.

Has anyone tried trimming the film? I know dust and fingerprints would be a problem.. I was looking at it on J&C and it looks like a good deal.

I may try a box.

Actually, I bought two "boxes" (it came in just the red paper/foil wrapper) of the "miscut" 4x5 intentionally. I'm planning to make one or more 4x5 size pinhole cameras, and I can easily accomodate a millimeter or several of oversize and still be able to retain the correctly cut stuff when it comes up. And damn, you can't beat the price!
