Film holder

I have linhof-BY view camera.
is film holder for Linhof Techika 4x5 and Linhof-By 4x5 view camera the same or interchangeable.
It there difference between 4x5 and 9x12cm film holder?

I don't know the BY...

Linhof have used two different kinds of film holders: Thin metal single-plate holders, and "modern" wood or plastic two-sided holders. Assuming it's the latter kind, all of these are interchangeable. Modern 9x12cm and 4x5" film hoders are also interchangeable; as are 5x7", half-plate and 13x18cm, and 8x10" with 18x24cm.
