Film for Polaroid back for RB67

which fujifilm packs can i use in the NPC polaroid back for my Mamiya RB67?

Any of the reasonably priced ones. As long as it doesn't say 4x5 you're fine. 100B, 100C, 3000B are your main options.

3 1/4 x 4 1/4 and as above go with the Fuji FP brands, you'll love the 3000B. Make sure as they also carry the 4x5 size.

Didnt want to start a new thread, so im hijacking this one. Just got my Polaroid back for my RZ, it came with 5 shots still inside. I used them up but all came out kinda splotchy and milky. NO idea how old this film was, but nonetheless the results bummer me. a few questions:

1) dev times? How nuts on must one be? I cant imagine taking a thermometer around with me every time i wanna shoot a polaroid.
2) the film was the FP-100C... should i shoot it on 100 iso and trust my meter, they all seemed dark.
3) the instructions i found say let it hang, dont shake, dont lay flat... all true?

Oh, and i accidentally pulled the darkslide with the back off, Ooops, it of course killed my first frame, but would it ruin the rest, or make them look splotchy?

I think that film's just old. Buy some fresh Fuji and go crazy. Development times are not super-critical, it's not like developing film. I shoot at box speed and meter normally and get good exposures.

I believe (please correct me if I'm wrong) that the dev times listed are minimum times - going past them won't harm the development of the print.

I've let the 3000B sit around for a couple of minutes with no ill effects - that stuff takes around 15 seconds to fully dev.

btw, I like the pics you posted - nice lo-fi look to them (even if they were from dodgy film, sometimes that's the best kind!)

one of the cool things about the RB is you get a bigger image (i haven't measured it but it looks like 9-10cm square). My friends bronica 6x6 polaroid back gives you exactly that... a 6x6cm square in the middle of the film...

...I just guess the temperature and/or develop for about 2 min. I heard that Fuji packfilm times out when the development stage is done. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Also I leave my film on the table while developing, and it looks just fine. I had a friend who shook the developing image like a maniac once (I guess she didn't understand it was necessary?) ...and the picture came out with no ill effects, but I strongly recommend you let it sit while its developing.

Well, just got some new film from B+H... now whats going here? At first i thought the film back wasnt on all the way, as there was a gap on the top edge, so i removed and re-put-on the polaroid back snugly, but still had the same effect... HMmmm. Any ideas?

Sorry to hijack this thread aswell, but which original Polaroid brand film fits the RZ67 Polaroid back? I have been shooting a few packs of Fuji FP-100c with good results, but would like to try some Polaroid film. Is it Type 100? or maybe 669? You can still find a lot for sale on eBay, and also over at www.polapremium.com, some has expired and some still inside the best before date. Any help would be great, cheers Shaun.

It looks like a light leak, but it's odd that it's uniform across the whole image.

Maybe the dark slide? Is it fitting in snugly?

Check for a light leak.

I would put the camera on T, go in a dark room with a flash light and click the shutter. Shine the flashlight in the lense and see if you can see light leaking out. If it isn't that, I would check the rollers. Why check the rollers? I don't know but it sounds good. Ric.

It may have solved itself... heres one i shot today. Dont mind the discoloration from one half to the other, that was a sideways grad filter test.
