FILM Ferrania is alive and Kicking!

Okay, sorry about the pun in the title...but yes! Ferrania is banking on getting production back up and running THIS year! But first they need a little more help! It's already been three days and they're over 50% of their goal of 250,000$ Ferrania when they shut down, the government basically mothballed the entire plant and kept the equipment safe, so now the team is working on getting the gear purchased, moved into the LRF building on site and get production going. First film off the line a ASA-100 Slide Film...known in the past as Scotch Chrome! They also have plans to have two more speeds in production as well. With slide film production basically down to Fuji, getting another film production line of E-6 film, that is fully self-contained...it worthwhile!

Ah thank you! See I don't read all the sub-forums here, so I'm working on the assumption that other people are like me and only check the sub-forums they're interested in! Either way, good to spread the word around!

That is Great news! Looks like they will reach their goal and can start rescuing the machines they need.
