Last night I had the great pleasure of watching the film “From Darkroom to Daylight” by Harvey Wang, where he explores how the dramatic shift from film to digital has affected photographers and their work. Digital’s effect on photography, is probably the most monumental change in its history. Of course, it would not be possible to fully capture such a change, but I feel Harvey did a great job providing a very moving snapshot of this transition while providing emotional, technical, and business perspectives. I highly recommend you look for a screening in your area.
