Registrations are starting to come in for the 5th Annual View Camera Conference in Louisville, KY. The Conference runs from June 29th, 2007 through July 1st. There will be two three day workshops at Bernheim Forest before the Conference and lots of workshops during the conference.

The Bernheim Forest sessions include one workshop on LF landscape work and another on LF environmental portraiture and figure studies. Most of the work will be in the field but there will also be some 'indoors' joint sessions. Faculty include Bruce Barlow, Kirk Gittings, Ted Harris, Peter LeGrand, Richard Ritter and Steve Simmons. There are 'dormitory style' accommodations available at no cost at Bernheim on a first-come-first served basis. Enrollment is strictly limited to 12 participants in each of the two workshops. Email bernheimworkshops@fourpointlanding.com for more information or call Andrea at View Camera 1-800-894-8439.

Also call Andrea for general Conference information and registration. Remember, there is a $60 discount ($115 total) for the Conference if you register before the end of the year. Also, students are half-price with proper identification. See http://www.viewcamera.com/pdf/2006/vc_conference2007.pdf for details

I'm registered for the Alt Process workshop Friday morning. Has there as yet been a decision on which process the workshop will cover? My preferences (off the top of my head) incude Platinum, Carbon, Kallitype, Ziatype.

Doug,

If things work they way we want them to work there will be two different alt process workhops going. The one that is locked in will be led by Paul Taylor of Renaissance Press. Paul is expert in several different proceses. Michael Mutmansky (an expert Platinum printer) and Kevin Sullivan of Botick and Sullivan will also be instructing .... details on processes to be covered to follow.
