Ferraniacolor

Anyone knows if the new Ferraniacolor film will be available this year, and if so, what formats offered?

I don't think even Ferrania know yet, they seem to still be struggling to manufacture it.

Better get acquainted with the odd hues of old Schotchchrome, because that is what they are able to replicate. Don't expect anything like Ektachrome
or Fujichrome soon. Still, I'd like to try some of this myself when it becomes available.

If by Ferrniacolor you mean color negative film, from what I understand Ferrania is working on an E 6 transparence or slide film, perhaps negative film will come in time, but I have not seen a release date for their E6 offering.

It is quite possible that they have added improvements on top of the old formula. Still, I think that it will have a rather classic character being older generation. The negative film was produced until the demise of former Ferrania.

Who knows if the next update might be very positive, showing that they have advanced production.
