Ok.... I know, I know. I haven't even had this bad boy a month yet. I'm just not entirely sure this is the camera for me. I know this is going to sound silly but it's just too light for me! (weird huh?)

I don't mind keeping it as I like the 6x7 format, but I just figured I'd throw this out there.

Fuji GW670III by Abram Goglanian, on Flickr

The camera is mint, 034 on the counter.

I like rangefinders in general, and I would probably be interested a mkII Fuji (+cash depending on condition) it is my understanding that the older versions had a bit more weight to them as they were all metal?

I'll hear out other considerations too of course, and if nothing sounds interesting I'll happily keep it or sell it later on, who knows!

Let's talk

THe mk III are all metal, just with plastic/rubber covering. MkIII is better than MkII in all ways. Keep it! ;-)

I know the guts and the stuff that matters is metal. Im not worried about the quality of this thing, I can tell it's solid. I know the lens is fantastic. I can tell from the rolls I've developed so far. It's certainly not a bad camera in any way, I'm just one that always likes to explore his options.

You never know what's out there!

The only thing similar but better is the Mamiya 7. ;-)

I have considered that, but only once have I seen a kit go for under $1k. I'm not necessarily locked into a Rangefinder to be honest. I am a big fan of them, but I try everything!

However I will say this. If someone does have a Mamiya 6 or 7 that is interested in trading definitely let me know. I'd be willing to contribute some cash as well.

I should also mention, I am more of a 35mm shooter than I am medium format. I prefer the quality of medium format, but I prefer the compactness and convenience and cost of 35mm.

Always wanted a Nikon F series camera  (and a Leica of course)

Ok, I've had quite a few people suggesting that I keep the camera, I think I will do this for now, but I will entertain offers on certain items.

I'm interested in:

Mamiya RZ
Mamiya 7 (I'd contribute cash if necessary)
Pentax 645N
Leica M mount rangefinder gear (whatever that may be )
Nikon F/F2/F3/F4 w/ lenses (interested in 28/35/50/85/105)

I would hear out other suggestions, but those would be the main things I'm interested in.

Ok one more update: (I'm sorry!!)

I think I'm going to stick with 35mm for now. I'm content with my 1N, but if I am to pick up another camera I want it to be a rangefinder. I'm well aware that Leica M bodies are out of my price range right now, so Ideally I would be very interested in a Voigtlander Bessa R2 or R2a w/ a lens or two (I prefer 35mm personally)

If a trade for a Bessa cannot be arranged I am also prepared to sell the camera outright. Given that I have posted this in the Trade section I won't pollute the board with sale information. If you are interested, please contact me, I have a price in mind, but I'm happy to work something out.
