Whew! That's over 80 ft of film, an awful lot to process by hand.
But everything is relative. At the big labs where I spent a lot of time, that would only be about a minute and a half of machine time. But since the machine still has to run a ~25 minute cycle, they wouldn't even bother to start it up for such a small amount of film.
You're in the awkward zone of doing a bit too much for hand-crafted work, but too little for high-volume factory-style production. Too bad there's no simple, cheap equipment to automate this sort of volume. (None that I know of, anyway).
great work mark, now you have to print it all
it should only take you "a few hours" ...
A few hours a day for..,
it all depends on how close the exposures are to one another ( density )
and how fast you are at judging![]()
Just took my first good look at the negatives and I couldn't ask for more.
I was pretty careful and the negatives look reasonably close. There are a few grab shots that are thick or thin but the bulk were set with an incident meter and appear really consistent.
Once I get the first one dialed in I should be able to rock.
