The metering needle of the black FE2 is reacting much slower compared to the previous one I got and I wonder if this is battery related? I dont have extra batteries to test it so I wonder. Even when I held it against the light bulb it didn’t go past 1/250 at F2 and 200 ISO so I wonder. Any idea?

Go outside at mid day, aim at the blue sky (no sun in the frame) and it should meter about ISO 250, 1/250 f/16.

My guess is as good as yours but you won’t have to wonder after you have bought a new set of batteries.
Unfortunately the FE2 don’t have a battery check like the FE so there’s no way around it.
You don’t have other cameras that uses LR44/SR44 you can borrow?

Just got new batteries, the exposure seems to be more sensitive to light and appears to be working just fine. thanks again!
