It looks like Henry's will no longer order fibre paper. B&H has free shipping to Canada on orders over $100, so I guess that is one alternative. It slowly gets more difficult all the time and the days of dropping down the photo shop for a quick 10 or 25 sheets are officially gone. Henry's stocks very little now (in Ottawa, at least) but they still get my HC-110 and fixer to me pretty quickly.

Another Canadian source for supplies:

So far I've only ordered once from them but plan to order more from them in future.
They are easy to deal with.

Henrys can be a bit unpredictable. It seems to depend on the staff person you deal with. At my local Henrys there are a couple of helpful film enthusiasts on staff. There is also one staffer who literally shows fear in his eyes if you mention anything film or darkroom.

I just found out that Galaxy Camera in Ottawa will order fibre paper and a few other things I want.

Bain, we should get a few of us together for bulk orders of anything we can't get locally to save on shipping. I am always interested in meeting other Apuggers locally.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. Very helpful.

Just got 2 bottles of Ilford DD-X from Galaxy Camera yesterday for a better price than Henry's AND B&H. They also have the best supply of film in Ottawa.

I would also be interested to meet up with the Ottawa Apuggers. We could just meet at a pub downtown for a drink and to show off our prints (and probably equipment :D ). Anyone else interested?

I second Beau photo if you're in Vancouver, they're fantastic.

And while we are at it, just because a Toronto retailer is dropping the ball, doesn't mean that All Canadians need be worried:munch:

Hahaha. As someone who has lived in Toronto and currently lives in Vancouver, centre of the universe-itis always raises its head somewhere.

Beau Photo is indeed amazing for its supply, lovely staff, etc. Highly recommended. If Beau doesnt' have it, I have ordered through Jacques at Argentix and have been impressed.

Any evening but Monday works for me.

I know I just got Henrys in Kanata to get me a litre of HC-110, and the Clerk that served me when I picked it up saw "Kodak Developer" and asked me if that was for "Old Kodak Film"? Turns out that she had had a customer looking to get a roll of Kodachrome developed and she thought she had found a solution.

My current MO is to find the items on the henry's web site and use the sotres e-mail address to ask them to request it from their warehouse and let me know when I can pick it up.
