The XA2 and XA4 have the XA beat handily. I have all of them and the XA is my least favorite.

If the MX can be called a compact, then my Agfa Isolette surely qualifies as one.

Thats what I thought. I had to choose between scale focus Rollei 35, Zeiss lens or Isolette Solinar 6x6 scale focus. I picked the later but seems like it has film flatness problems. Man is it slim and light though, and MF. My photos were blurry. The only camera that happened on. Ill try again.

My association for Rollei 35 with hand stripe sticking from it - the lemon grenade. And I used to have two of Rollei 35, lovely, high end 3.5 lens, but I let them go, because they aren't light. Yes, I agree, it is compact, but weighty for the pocket and even to the hand.
Light and pocketable compacts to me are XA and Minox 35. Used XA for few years as daily camera, now trying to use Minox 35 PL.

I'm kind of crazy in love with the Ricoh GR1 right now, but I'm probably not being entirely rational about it.

I like my Minox 35GT and it's amazing 35mm f2.8 Colour Minotar lens.
