What are your favorite (and least favorite) emulsions for Diafine?

I know that Tri-X is the classic companion for Diafine, but it is a little too dear for me to use all of the time. I have been using J&C Classic 200 and 400 and have neither complaints about the cost nor the results they've given me. However, I am getting to the end of my supply, and am interested to hear about other peoples favorite and least favorite films to use with Diafine. I am especially interested in the cheaper films- Arista.EDU, Foma, ADOX CHM, Lucky, etc.

I shoot mostly Toy and handmade cameras with 120 film.

Thanks in advance.

Tri-X. TMY. HP5. I haven't dunked Delta 400 in it, but I'm sure it would be just as good. Hell, I dunked C-41 film in Diafine once and came up with great results. As long as the film isn't really, really slow, it's hard to find a film that doesn't work at least decently well in Diafine.

Stephanie,

which C-41 film? B&W chromogenic, like the XP-2?
