Hey all,

has anybody here used the FA1027 developer from www.fineartphotosupply.com ? If so, I would be very interested to hear what your thoughts are of this high actuance developer.

Thanks,

Thanks for pointing me to that thread, but I was wondering if perhaps somebody had actually tried it and liked/not liked it.

I ordered my film from there, the 'disguised' FP4+, and figured what the hey and ordered the developer as well. Just to see if it came out any better than my beloved Efke/Rodinal combination.

Thanks for your input,

I've been tempted to try it. It's not that expensive.

It's so hard to tell by the spiel. It's like carbohydrates. If you want to sell any food it has to be touted as "Low Carb". Developers have to be "High Acutance" and "Finely Tuned" to comb your hair and tie your shoes, or something.
