F601 or F75 and nikkor 24-50mm af or 35-105mm af

One lens and one body goes to an Olympus XA using student,

I thought F601 and 24-50 is better combination , Am I right ?

Yes , they are both auto focus cameras .
The F601 is from around 1991 and the F75 from 2003 , with and the advances in AF that go with it .

I have the 24-50mm which I tend to pair with the Nikon F80 . I also use it on the F501 ( from 1986 ) , which I would have thought was the cheapest AF camera ?
For larger bodied cameras ( F4 , F100 etc ) I tend to use the 28-105mm D lens .

I use an 1938 Leica III with 1938 Elmar 5 cm. Go figure it.

The F601 is the nicer camera and the 24-50 the nicer lens. An F801 would be even nicer and they also cost next to nothing.

I would lean into the F75 for its more modern festure set and even if construction is plastic, that means light weight.
I have used a F401s, F801s, F80 and F90. The F80 is the closest to the F75 and was great, F90 is IMO the best performing (single point AF) of all.
F401s was way early but its AF exhibits its date, even the F801s AF is behind the F80 and F90.

Pair it up with good glass and film. I like the lower end Nikon AF models because they can even be gotten cheap with a kit zoom! Having said that I will search for another F80 and/or F90.

One of the best too. The only newer design would be the F6.

I had canon eos 1000 and at the beginning it rolls the film to the last frame and take the photos backwards. Is it the same at n6006?

I know N55 and N75 do this. It is a nice feature for the 'curious' who might want to see the pictures right away. It keeps the exposed frames out of harm's way when the back is opened to peek.

No, the Nikon N6006 doesn't do this. I received one, as a high school graduation present, and still have it. It starts at the beginning of the roll and pulls the film out, with each new exposure. I like this system, as it is much easier to index your negatives, in relation to the file number of scans, as labs tend to "start at the beginning," and I decide how many frames I get out of the roll, if there are any extra. I briefly used a Canon EOS Rebel that belonged to a high school friend, and the winding of the film out of the cassette, at the beginning drove me nuts.

The F75/N75 is like a slightly improved F65/N65. Get a F65/N65 for even less. Both 75 and 65 have the same noisy shutter, motors and quite of a shake.
