I would lean into the F75 for its more modern festure set and even if construction is plastic, that means light weight.
I have used a F401s, F801s, F80 and F90. The F80 is the closest to the F75 and was great, F90 is IMO the best performing (single point AF) of all.
F401s was way early but its AF exhibits its date, even the F801s AF is behind the F80 and F90.
Pair it up with good glass and film. I like the lower end Nikon AF models because they can even be gotten cheap with a kit zoom! Having said that I will search for another F80 and/or F90.
