The f:32.net Travelling Exhibition just arrived, so I thought I'd have another get together at my place Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 3-6 pm or so, in Manhattan. If anyone is interested, pm me, and I'll give you the directions.

You can preview some of the prints and see who is showing in the current round here--

APUG types include Ole Tjugen (big, in color, and d*****l), Graeme Hird, Lee Carmichael, and myself, and perhaps a few others (please identify yourselves, if I've left anyone out!)

I'll hurry to add that it's a "commercial" print. Since they couldn't scan a 5x7" colour slide (that's how they all do it these days), I was lucky to have one scanned by another APUGger. The scan was resized, but no further manipulation was done - not even spotting!

You mean there are places in Norway where there are no power lines? No airplane exhaust trails? Maybe you should Photoshop some in, just for the sake of realism.

I didn't even realise until I saw the big print, and then I had to go over the slide with a 15x loupe: There are no ower lines, and no "sky scratches"! I've even checked with the maps, there are no power lines visible from that location. I'm shocked, and I 'm sure it's just an oversight and will be corrected as soon as possible!

I have a print in there, hopefully I'll put a better one in this time around. :D

Thanks for the heads-up, Diane. Which one is yours? Did you also post a scan in the Travelling Exhibition forum over at f32?

Great! Looks like we have at least 4 or 5 people coming so far.

In addition to the f32 portfolio, you can see two great platinum prints I just got from Jorge, my file of postcards from the APUG postcard exchange, and prints from some of the print exchanges on APUG and the LF forum.

The event took place, and we had, from left to right, George Losse and Bruce Osgood, who are looking at some prints from various APUG print exchanges as well as Jorge's platinums, and on the sofa that's gr82bart Liem looking through the f32.net Travelling Exhibition. George also brought a box of his prints, which were great to see in person.

I had the 4x5 Ziatype in there. It's posted in the Travelling Exhibition forum on f32under the thread titled Lakeside. It's one of my first Ziatype attempts. In fact, it might be the print on the top of the pile towards the front of the picture you have in your link.

Thanks, Diane. I figured it out when I saw your name on the back.
