Ammonium thiosulfate soln. (58%) 185 ml
Sodium sulfite, anh. 10 g
Sodium hydrogen sulfite 8.4 g
Water to make 1 l

PH = 6.5 at 27C; density = 1.086

I believe a fixer should be slightly acid for decent longevity in use, but not so acid as to do harm to the image or be hard to wash out. Kodak F-34 answers these requirements. F-34 is similar (but not identical) to Ryuji's Neutral Rapid Fixer.
