For years I have used an Olec AL 15 exposure unit (1000 watts, diazo type bulb), it died the other day and I grabbed a 1000 watt metal halide luminaire as a temp replacment, I am delighted to find that my exposures and results are nearly the same for much less money, the unit came with a generic metal halide bulb. I am wondering if anybody has suggestions for enhancements such as a different bulb, etc?
