After reading about his passing, I looked at some of Ray McSavaney's work on the web and ordered a copy of "Explorations" from Ventana Editions. The photos are wonderful and the book is beautifully executed. Ventana/John Sexton will be donating the net profit from this book (through the end of the year) to a fund that has been established to preserve McSavaney's archive of work. This is a beautiful book that belongs on everyone's shelf and will help to preserve what must be a terrific body of work. A worthwhile investment on several levels.
