So I got my first roll of tungsten film with a camera I got at my local thrift store. A roll of Kodak elite chrome 160t. it expired 12/99 and I'm wondering what it would good for?

Night scenes.

Actually a good suggestion ! There's lots of latitude available in exposure and colour rendering in night scenes (streets, etc.), and, although there will likely be deterioration in speed and colour in an old film, there is every chance that you'll get something interesting and usable.
